1st Uganda Dialogue: Breaking The Silence Youth and Women Convention 2019 Toronto Canada, scheduled to take place from September 6th -7th . At the Momentum Montessori Banquet Hall 237 Sackville Street, ON, M5A3G1, Toronto Canada. The convention theme this year is: Involving, Investing (In) And Inspiring Youth, Women and Allies to act Against Violence. 1. To collectively discuss strategies to address violence against youth and women. 2. Where do we go from here? Supporting youth and Women in Uganda and the Diaspora to speak out against violence. A case of PTMOF 3. Building Resourceful and Resilient Youth communities to address violence 4. To discuss and equip youth and women with empowerment skills to allow growth, economic transformation, development of Uganda along with those living in the Diaspora. We are launching the Uganda Dialogue: Breaking the Silence Convention 2019 as to address complacence by re-engaging Ugandans in the Diaspora, Partners in Uganda and well-wishers about the need to provide safety for youth and women. Friday September 6th is dedicated to international guests' arrivals, meeting and greeting Delegates, Saturday September 7th will feature the Youth convention that will be followed by a sit down dinner and dance in the evening to crown the event. This is a great opportunity for cultural exchange with the youth, women from Uganda and the Diaspora.
