Join us for our 6th annual Paddle the Rouge in support of Wildlands League on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Come out and enjoy a day on The Rouge, including our free Learn to Paddle experience.  There are two Learn to Paddle sessions this year: at 9 am and 11 am and are approximately 1 hour in duration. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Boat rentals will be in the afternoon. Every year we work hard to get more people out on the water and into nature. This requires many hands to help out! If you, or someone you know, wants to be a part of this year's Paddle the Rouge volunteer team, please contact eugenia@wildlandsleague.org for more information. Learn to Paddle is one of our favorite parts of the day. Launched in 2014 during our second Paddle event, we created it as a way to help foster the love of nature through paddling in the next generation. Our Learn to Paddle is offered free for youth ages 5 to 18, with thanks to our sponsors. Wildlands League aims to give as many youth as possible an opportunity to paddle. To make this happen, please only register youth for one paddling session per child. Paddle the Rouge is accessible by GO Train, TTC, and by car. Parking is limited onsite and in the surrounding area. A free shuttle bus will be available from the Rouge Hill GO Station or enjoy a walk along the waterfront path from Rouge Hill GO Station to the event. Wildlands League would like to thank our partners, for their support of this year's event. It would be greatly appreciated if you would DONATE to help make this year's Paddle the Rouge a success.
