Course Overview "if you can't measure it, you can't manage it". Famous words from W. Edward Deming that we have all come across at some point in our careers. But did he really say this? You will find out in this workshop. Metrics matter. Metrics for Product Managers ups your game by using data to drive understanding. You'll learn about quantitative metric strategies, and then explore how to use metric frameworks for measuring things that matter. You will dive in to People metrics (to measure skills and define improvement plans),  Process metrics (to implement continuous improvement in your product processes) and Product metrics (to have clear, common way to measure product health and success). To wrap up the day, you will bring together all these elements and develop your own Chief Product Officer Dashboard. Participants will get exposure to best-practice methods and the course experience is designed around interactive exercises, giving you the opportunity to practice using the tools and templates in the class environment, so you're ready to use them on the job. Learning Outcomes Participants will explore domains, such as: Quantitative Metric Strategies - understanding how to think about data in the context of metrics/analytics related to customer acquisition/retention Using Metrics Frameworks including OKRs and North Star Metrics People Metrics Framework - For product teams. Measure team member (or self-assess) key skills and identify gaps or areas of weakness and create measurable plans for improvement Process Metrics Framework - apply metrics to key product processes using an OKR framework and implement continuous improvement to drive better outcomes Product Metrics Framework - define a strategic product dashboard of key metrics to understand product status/health and give visibility to stakeholders throughout the company on path to reaching product objectives Who Should Attend?
