Improv with Freddie Rivas: Get out of your head and into your body! In this course, students will get to explore the art of improv through games, scene work and exercises, all aimed at using the practical and performative skills of improvisation in a personal and engaging way.• No previous experience required.• Bring your own water bottle.  WEDNESDAYS 6:00PM - 7:00PMFebruary 6, 13 & 20, 2019 Class capacity is 15 participants. 5 spots are being reserved for drop-in participants. Please arrive early to sign-in. Latecomers will not be allowed entrance. About the InstructorFreddie Rivas is a comedian and puppeteer from Toronto. Performing in festivals across Canada and the United States like JUST FOR LAUGHS, Spur, Puppets UP!, JFL42, Field Trip, NXNE among others, Freddie has worked with some of the best in puppetry and comedy alike. In 2017, Freddie was featured in CBC's According To Kids and the Beaverton's Very Very Early Morning Coffee. His live show Rapp Battlez won a 2013 Canadian Comedy Award for best live show, and you can follow him on twitter (@freddierivas or instagram @freddienoelrivas). Class Location & Arrival Information Location: The Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - O'Keefe Lounge Entrance: Yonge Street Entrance (located along Yonge Street on the west side of the building halfway between Front St. and Esplanade - SEE PHOTO BELOW). Doors will open at 5:00PM Community Class Liability Waiver. As a participant, you only need to complete and return this form once.  After that, you are eligible to participate in all community classes.  Copies of this form are available upon arrival at each class.  Alternatively, you may print and complete this form in advance and bring it with you to your first class.
