Not everything has changed

When you first enter the hotel, you will notice that things look different from when you last stayed, but we suspect none of the modifications will come as a surprise. They have been designed to protect you and our team. What has not changed is our commitment to exceed your expectations, the pride that we instill in maintaining our property, and how adopting new procedures will protect everyone. From our viewpoint, our greatest asset has always been people. Our people, and the people that we serve. This has not changed.

We have implemented social distancing in the lobby with denoted footprints, and provided visual direction as it pertains to riding the elevator. We have installed plexi-glass shields at the front desk, which offers protection between the guest and our front desk associates. Due to current restrictions, Portico remains closed, room service has been suspended and our rooftop fitness centre is temporarily unavailable. To further ensure our commitment to safety, guests will find free-standing hand sanitizer stations throughout the property. Finally, International travellers must self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days prior to checking in, and if any guest exhibits COVID-19 symptoms they will be denied access to our property.

In accordance with the Hotel Association of Canada, the following touch points have been removed from our suites:

1. Glassware and coffee mugs
2. Keurig coffee machine
3. K-cup pods, sugar and cream
4. Ice bucket and tongs
5. Hairdryers
6. Makeup mirrors
7. Shower caps
8. Magazines, menus, notepads and pens
9. Decorative pillows

Sanitized items that remain in our suites, include:
1.Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, sealed soap and a soap dish. All amenities are removed after a guest checks out
2.Iron and ironing board. Both units will be disinfected
3.Individually wrapped plastic cups have replaced glassware

In terms of accommodation servicing, our housekeeping team will not enter a suite during a guest's stay, however if a customer requires additional linens or sheets, they may contact the front desk. During the past three months, a deep clean has been conducted throughout the hotel, hence we are ready for your return.
