Front Office Manager

Under the guidance of the Guest Services Manager, the Front Office Manager is responsible to ensure a smooth, effective and successful operation of the Front of House areas. This includes: Guest Service Agents, Duty Managers, Concierge and Console. The Front Office Manager is required to ensure that all standards, procedures, and overall guest satisfaction levels are monitored/evaluated and increased on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: * Ensure proper staffing levels and labour cost controls * Review, develop, document and train, Front Office operating standards * Train Managers on Duty * Develop a successful team through: selection, training, performance reviews and example by leadership * Develop training initiatives to ensure staff are knowledgable, engaged and working to full potential * Ensure compliance of Credit Procedures and Policies * Ensure proper operating systems exist for the production of information reports * Motivate, coach, develop and mentor staff * Assist in facilitating company Service Excellence courses * Uphold the values and the philosophies of Centennial Hotels Job Requirements: * 3 - 5 years Supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, with a minimum of 3 years at the managerial level. * Exceptional guest relations and English communication (both verbal and written) skills, combined with a strong attention to detail. * Superior problem solving skills * Proven Leadership Ability - Recruiting, Training, Performance Management and Development * Must be enthusiastic with the ability to lead and motivate the Front of the House team. verbal and written - are absolutely essential, accompanied by an ability to prioritize effectively and a proven resourcefulness when problem-solving. *The successful candidate will have both skill and experience in leading and motivating an employee team, and be able to handle security, credit and emergency related situations with tact, diplomacy, hospitality, grace and impeccable professionalism. *Certification as a Hospitality Supervisor and as a trained trainer are assets. *Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
